Iran Warns of Severe Response After US and Israeli Strikes

Iran has issued a strong warning following reported strikes by the United States and Israel on multiple Iranian cities. Officials stated that Tehran’s response would be “extremely severe.”

According to Iranian and international media reports, the attacks targeted the capital Tehran as well as Isfahan, Tabriz, Qom, and Karaj. Explosions were reportedly heard in several areas.

Missile strikes in the outskirts of Tehran sent plumes of smoke into the sky, though no confirmed reports of casualties have been released so far.

Israel Launches Preemptive Strikes on Iran

Israeli officials claimed that government buildings and military installations in Iran were among the intended targets of the operation.

Iranian authorities adopted a firm stance, declaring that preparations for a retaliatory response were underway and emphasizing that the country would defend its sovereignty.

The head of Iran’s parliamentary national security committee stated that the escalation has entered a new phase and that the outcome of the confrontation is no longer in the hands of those who initiated the attacks.
